OF THE EXACT SECURALOG PROCESS

Step One:       You have seen a Securalog advertisement, received a brochure or have heard about the Securalog service from some other source. You have been directed to our Worldwide Aviation, Inc. website and have now read about all of the security, protection and benefits offered by our all-important service.

 Now what happens?

Step Two:       You proceed to our e-commerce order page (BUY NOW page) and fill out all of the information requested, including aircraft make, model, serial number and year, and your credit card number and expiration date.

Please be advised: We use the LinkPort Credit Card Merchant Service to process your credit card payment. This service and our ecommerce shopping cart system use the very latest 128 bit SSL encryption program and installed "firewall" to ensure the absolute security of your critical credit and personal data. Also please be advised: Securalog never areveals, sells or shares any of this personal data or information contained in your Aircraft Records and Logbook Package with ANYONE, at ANYTIME. (see Advisory at bottom of page). Your privacy, security, and satisfaction are our first priority. You can also call our offices and initiate this same process off-line. Our dedicated employees will actually enter your data and information manually into our order system here at our offices and this will automatically implement the rest of the listed steps. If you prefer, you may also enclose a check or money order for the full amount with your records package. Our pricing structure is simple and affordable and the rest of the process is as easy and hassle-free as possible.

Step Three:    During the order process in Step Two, you will be asked to specify a range of times and the location-address for pick-up, or whether you prefer to drop-off your valuable records package. Whichever option you choose, Securalog works exclusively with FedEx and your information is entered into their shipping system automatically. We use the FedEx “NetReturns” shipping program which will order the pick-up, and generate an express airbill which will contain an exclusive barcode which relates only to YOUR records package. Remember, we pay for all shipping charges both ways! This shipping airbill will then be sent to you via email for you to print-out on any printer or will be faxed (or both). You then simply have your records package boxed/packaged using the standard FedEx packaging supplies available from any FedEx office or U.S. Post Office location. (All U.S. Post Office locations now accept FedEx packages for drop off and have FedEx supplies available).

Step Four:       Be available when the FedEx driver comes to pickup your package(s) or you may choose to drop-off your records package at any FedEx office or U.S. Post Office using the same shipping airbill sent via fax or email. (NOTICE: Please verify that all of your records and logbooks are in the package and don't forget to include the "Weight and Balance" section of your Aircraft Flight Manual [AFM] which sometimes also contains FAA Form 337's, these are all important documents to ensure a complete records package.)   Affix the airbill and that’s it! We only use FedEx 2Day Priority Air delivery which ensures the rapid delivery of your records to our offices here in Scottsdale, Arizona. You will receive an email from FedEx upon delivery of the package here to our offices and you can easily check the status of your shipment at anytime during the process by calling 1-(800) Go-FedEx or logging-on to www.fedex.com and entering your airbill tracking number previously issued.

Step Five:       Two days after the pick-up of your records they arrive here at our offices. They are immediately logged into our computer database and retrieval system using a custom-designed software program by ImageTag, Inc. and then placed into a secure, fire-proof storage vault/safe where they are held until ready for scanning. We attempt to scan and input all records within 5 working days from their receipt by FedEx and we guarantee no more than 10 working days to finish the process and return-ship.

Step Six:         When ready for processing, your records and logbook package, including all yellow-tags, Form 8130’s, work orders, loose papers, flight logs and all other documents are organized and sorted by our highly experienced, certified A&P’s.

Our mechanics have many years of practical hands-on experience and have seen and organized thousands of aircraft records. They will certify each scan as the original, then tag and sort each entry into fields corresponding to the type of record. Each and every page is then scanned using the KwikTag system and will appear “as original” when it is stored digitally into our database. The entire records package is then fully scanned, certified, digitally signed by the actual A&P with his FAA certificate number, and stored.    For additional information regarding the FAR's and FAA requirements for aircraft records and logbooks CLICK HERE. This electronic, computer record is then stored by aircraft make, model, year, serial number and registration “N” number. It is also stored by owners name and address and total times when scanned. At this point the entire records package is SAFELY and SECURELY stored in our database where it is fully backed-up daily and weekly using high quality, long-life industrial quality tape-drive back-ups. One copy is kept on the hard drive of our main servers, one tape back-up is kept on-site, and one full tape back-up is updated weekly and kept off-site in a secure data vault. This database will be stored and protected for the life of your aircraft and your records are expected to still be available 40, 50 even 60 years from now. The Professional, Secure, Long-term storage of your records package is our reason for existing!

Step Seven:    We then burn you a CD of your full records package that can be easily viewed or printed anytime using the standard Microsoft viewing software shipped with Windows 95 or newer. Or, if you prefer, we will print a full paper copy of all your records and logbooks organized as stored. Upon completion we re-package all your records and your copy (CD or paper) and again return-ship them to you via FedEx 2Day Express Air shipping, with email notification when they are picked-up. You then receive your records back - quickly, safely and securely, all within not more than 14 days from their pick-up!
